Join the adventure at our Bushcraft Summer Club!
Set in the stunning surroundings of Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre, Cannock Chase, this exciting experience is perfect for children aged 8–12 who love the outdoors.? What to bring: A packed lunch? What we provide: Drinks, snacks, and of course—a toasted marshmallow or two!

? Ready for an unforgettable summer of outdoor adventure? Our Holiday Club is packed with hands-on activities that will spark curiosity, build confidence, and ignite a love for nature. Here are just some of the wild experiences waiting for you:

? Fire Lighting Fun – Try your hand at ancient and modern fire-starting techniques, including the bow drill, flint and steel, striker and rod… and even join forces in an epic group bow drill challenge!

? Mastering the Flame – Discover different types of campfires, how to cook delicious meals over open flames, and the secret to the perfect hot chocolate under the trees.

?️ Shelter Building Showdown – Use natural materials to design shelters that fit the environment. Will your team build the most waterproof hideaway? Only time (and the British weather) will tell!

? Tarp Techniques & Team Games – Learn clever ways to rig up tarps for shelter—then put your skills to the test in friendly team challenges.

? Knot Know-How – Become a knot-tying pro with loops, hitches, and ties you can use for tarp setups and everyday life.

? Wilderness Water Skills – Get hands-on with water purification techniques, then watch the magic of turning murky water clean.

? Tool Time – Learn to use tools safely, then roll up your sleeves and craft something of your very own.

? Tracking Trailblazers – Step into the wild world of animal tracking, make your own tracking stick, and follow trails—maybe even track your teammates!

? Cordage Creation – Make your own natural rope from bramble or nettle (don’t worry, they won’t sting!) and discover how strong nature really is.

? Survival Bracelets – Craft your own paracord survival bracelet—a handy bit of kit that could come in very useful on your next adventure!

Our staff are all trained, qualified and have over 20 years experience in teaching bushcraft. They hold an Enhansed DBS and an Outdoor First Aid Certificate.
